How XP and levels work, how much rakeback each level earns, which bets count, when it shows up and how to claim it.

Rakeback gives part of the house edge back to you when you bet against Skill.io. Levels decide how big your share is. Everything below is on the Rewards page, which always shows the current rates.

What is rakeback?

When you bet against Skill.io, part of the house edge comes back to you. The higher your level, the bigger your share.

How do levels and XP work?

Every $100 you stake earns 1 XP once the bet settles, on sports, contracts and games the house takes a cut of. Coin Flip and Sim Trading against the house do not count, and neither do games between players with no house fee. The levels are Bronze at 10 XP ($1,000 staked), Silver at 50 XP ($5,000), Gold at 100 XP ($10,000), Diamond at 1,000 XP ($100,000) and Platinum at 10,000 XP ($1,000,000).

Your level never goes down. Bets that are voided and refunded do not count.

How much rakeback do I get?

The standard rates are 5% of the house edge before you reach a level, then 7.5% at Bronze, 10% at Silver, 12.5% at Gold, 15% at Diamond and 20% at Platinum. The rates can change, and the Rewards page shows the current ones.

Which bets earn rakeback?

Sports bets (singles, parlays, bet builders, player bets, UFC and bracket tickets), contracts, backing and fading, chess.com challenges and backing them, and live chess bets.

Games against other players do not count, and neither do Chess against the AI, Coin Flip or Sim Trading.

When does it show up, and how do I claim it?

It shows up when your bet settles, win or lose, usually within a minute. Void and refunded bets do not earn it. Open Rewards and press Claim. It goes straight to your balance, and you can bet with it or withdraw it with no playthrough. The minimum claim is $1.

Rakeback you have earned never expires. It stays until you claim it.

What are level credits?

Each level comes with a one-off credit: $20 at Bronze, $50 at Silver, $100 at Gold, $500 at Diamond and $1,000 at Platinum. Claim it on the Rewards page and it goes straight to your balance.
